The collaboration with Medecins du Monde began in 2016 when Metrolab researchers created the interdisciplinary cells, some working groups in which the common interest was a theme or an ERDF project. MdM had asked Metrolab to support them in designing the spaces of the future socio-sanitary centre of Cureghem. From this first work experience, MdM has played a central role in the development of Metrolab research around urban inclusion.
